Feeling Fit, Looking Fine The Jubilee Centre have now launched a Healthy Cookbook called ‘Feeling Fit, Looking Fine’ which enables the holder to a whole host of individual recipes which can be prepared or cooked within 20 minutes. The cookbook is aimed at the whole family but also can be adapted and tailored to meet the client’s needs. The idea is to plan and target yourself to improve your health in some sort of shape or form, for example, lower cholesterol, lose weight, increase weight or lower blood pressure. Signing up with the Healthy Plan and visiting the Jubilee Centre can offer lots of advantages such as using the in-house CHIP (Community Health Information Point) which can measure your weight, BMI, body fat content and blood pressure, along with this service we can sign post you to other services such as the in-house Stop Smoking Service and holistic classes(starting in September). The cookbook comprises of 4 sections, Breakfast, Dinner, Tea and an information section. Each visit more recipes can be collected which can be suited to your taste until your target or targets have been met, by which point a healthy cookbook has been collated. Since the launch of the cookbook on 17/7/10 we have had 12 sign ups with Ann Donkin – Gentoo being the first to sign up and visit the centre to use the CHIP machine and receive her cookbook, please see above.
