We are really excited about this month’s presentations. At the meeting we will have the anti-social behaviour unit talking about how we can tackle anti-social behaviour on a local level. It’s a real opportunity for you to come along and put your views across to decision makers.
We also have speakers from the NHS stop-smoking and FLU campaign which is very much at the forefront of people’s minds at the moment.
Optional Consultation Exercise Also we will be trying something new and will be holding an optional consultation exercise which will focus on local health and social care services. A short questionnaire will be used to gather your views which will be completely anonymous. Please see the enclosed leaflet for more information.
The consultation will begin at 12.00 noon along with the South Forum buffet. Please come along and join in.
If you are unable to attend to attend the meeting on the 20th May but would like to express an interest contact me via email lorna@southforum.org.uk or on 0191 522 8447.
Did you know that you can become a member of the South Forum as an individual, a worker or as a representative of a group?
Why should you join the South Forum?
We can offer you the opportunity to share good practice and experience. We can also offer you the opportunity to build positive relationships with other South Forum members. There is a good mix of attendees from the statutory, voluntary and community sectors as well as individuals. This provides an effective forum for networking and information sharing. South Forum members are able to promote their group or service and meet informally with others.
Everyone is welcome to attend our monthly meetings so please come along.
