Addressing alcohol misuse on a local level
Funding was secured from the NHS Safe, Sensible Social fund to promote the event. A leaflet was produced and delivered to over 13,000 households within our area of benefit. In addition to promoting the event, a positive message around alcohol misuse and support available locally was delivered to over 22,000 residents.
Actively involved on the day were Sunderland Northeast Council on Addiction and the North East Regional Alcohol Forum to provide information and advice to residents attending the event.
